Wondering why you haven’t received a party invitation to our annual Spring Show Open House? It’s still the virus.

Although we’re hopefully heading over the hump with vaccinations and all, it’s still not time for gathering crowds. Our gallery is playing it safe, and doing our spring show online, as well as displaying in the gallery.

Running through June, the gallery is swimming with fabulous fishes – artist- designed sculptures and wall hangings, of course. Come in at your leisure or enjoy the show on our website. Featured artists are:

As the season progresses we will be adding other artists and their work, as they arrive. So many have been delayed by supply shortages and covid restrictions, but now they are starting to come in. You can also come view the show in person and buy as well. The show runs through June 30th, 2021.

Cathy, Carie & Sharae Crain

These Texans shipped a colorful catch of ceramic fish wall hangings. Cut from clay slabs then highlighted with decorative designs are stamped and carved into bodies and fins to give dimension and movement. No two are exactly alike. Their production was delayed by the power outages and weeks without water that plagued Texas. 

 

A sea of brightly painted fish washed in from Massachusetts artist (and Drumm daughter) Elisa.  Handy with table saw and sander, she shapes fish from wood then decorates with festive tropical colors.

 

Don Drumm

Metal sculptor Don has created a fabulous collection of one of a kind fish sculptures. For our Spring Show, he created a stunning aluminum fish table and larger wall hangings of schools of fish.

  

Tyler Lenkey

Adds fish both large and small with his ever inventive approach to metal sculpture, plus with other new wonderful pieces.
