Tile Box with Cross Lid

Don Drumm is known for bringing the well-received, mid-century brutalist style into people’s homes and lives with everyday objects for decades. This pewter box is designed and hand-crafted by Don. You'll find Don's signature on the underside of each lid. Additionally, each of these boxes comes with a "Certificate of Authenticity" that Don personally signed.

This box is from the Christian collection Don designed. The lid for this collection has a symbol that represents “Jesus Christ Conquers.” Across the top of the Greek Cross is the Greek abbreviation for Jesus Christ and across the base is the word “Nika” that translates to “conquers.”

One specific design element you’ll find in each box is the interior base tile. In this pewter box, the interior, and central, base includes an abstract design. The center of which are two large, textured triangles. These are surrounded by wavy lines and small dots. The first exterior side depicts Jesus with Lazarus. The second side’s design has an angel with outstretched wings. For the third side, this depicts the ascension of Jesus. For the final side of this box, the design depicts Jesus riding a donkey into Jerusalem.
