Tile Box with Cross Lid

Don Drumm is known for bringing the well-received, mid-century brutalist style into people’s homes and lives with everyday objects for decades. This pewter box is designed and hand-crafted by Don. You'll find Don's signature on the underside of each lid. Additionally, each of these boxes comes with a "Certificate of Authenticity" that Don personally signed.

This box is from the Christian collection Don designed. The lid for this collection has a symbol that represents “Jesus Christ Conquers.” Across the top of the Greek Cross is the Greek abbreviation for Jesus Christ and across the base is the word “Nika” that translates to “conquers.”

One specific design element you’ll find in each box is the interior base tile. In this pewter box, the interior, central, base consists of an abstract design of lightly flowing lines. The first exterior side is a highly textured central circle with lines forming an “X” over the circle. For the second side, you will find an abstract pattern of undulating lines punctuated by small circles. Following this on the third side is an angel with wings with a trumpet. Following this is another abstract design of wavy, grooved lines.
