Singerman & Post "Wheel" Square Pendant

This square pendant is just shy of an inch in width and is approximately 1 and ¼ inch in height. At its base are three Czech glass beads – a large teal bead and a smaller lime green and a muted magenta bead. The abstract background on this pendant is a kelly green with magenta accents. In the center of this pendant is a design that is reminiscent of a galaxy swirl pattern. The front of the piece is also framed with a silver-tone backing.

Who would have thought that riding a New York City subway in the 1980’s would develop into a creative, innovative, line of jewelry?  But this is how Singerman & Post began their jewelry line.

These pieces are first and foremost – light weight. You won’t feel like you are wearing jewelry at all! Another interesting feature about Singerman & Post, is that this is a thriving, multi-generational family business.

The first step is the creation of original artwork. Once the new design has been created, the next step involves laminating the piece by hand. These pieces of jewelry are fashioned from metalized layers of mylar and vinyl. A final lamination adds a waterproof finish.

All adornments are Czech glass beads and the necklaces and earring wires are all sterling silver.
