Singerman & Post "Green Field" Trapezoid Earrings

The first thing you’ll notice about these earrings are their trapezoidal shape. The colors found with these earrings are muted green with bright kelly green accents. The pattern is brought out with elements of gray shading and black lines. Looking at this piece, one can see the influence of mid-century modern design. Each earring is just over 1 and a half inches in height and is one inch across at its widest. You’ll find four Czech glass beads at the base of each earring, a larger teal bead, a kelly green small bead, and two very small beads, one being light blue and the other a light gray. Who would have thought that riding a New York City subway in the 1980’s would develop into a creative, innovative, line of jewelry?  But this is how Singerman & Post began their jewelry line.

These pieces are first and foremost – light weight. You won’t feel like you are wearing jewelry at all! Another interesting feature about Singerman & Post, is that this is a thriving, multi-generational family business.

The first step is the creation of original artwork. Once the new design has been created, the next step involves laminating the piece by hand. These pieces of jewelry are fashioned from metalized layers of mylar and vinyl. A final lamination adds a waterproof finish.

All adornments are Czech glass beads and the necklaces and earring wires are all sterling silver.
