18 inch necklace. The chain has five small rutilated and faceted quartz attached, with each pendant being slightly less than a ¼ inch tall and ⅛ of an inch wide. The feature that makes these crystals spectacular are the rutiles that are found within. Looking at them, you’ll see that each piece has dozens of these criss-crossing black lines which are composed of titanium dioxide.

Another stunning feature of this piece is the two-tone necklace chain. The top portion of this necklace is a gold-filled delicately linked chain. Contrasting with this is a section where the rutilated quartz pendants hang from an oxidized sterling silver chain. The oxidized silver pairs well with the rutiles in these crystals. To top this off, a pop of gold wire both connects each crystal to the chain as well as helps repeat the pattern of the gold chain section.
