Singerman & Post "Purple Peacock" Hoop Earrings

Purple and lime green hoops stand out! Not for the faint hearted. These hoops are approximately 1 and a half inches in diameter with a center, oval shaped cut-out which is about ¾ of an inch. The main design on these abstract earrings fall at the bottom of the earrings and have the essence of a mandala design. The beads on these earrings are near where the earring wires are and each earring has a single bead of light green.

Who would have thought that riding a New York City subway in the 1980’s would develop into a creative, innovative, line of jewelry?  But this is how Singerman & Post began their jewelry line.

These pieces are first and foremost – light weight. You won’t feel like you are wearing jewelry at all! Another interesting feature about Singerman & Post, is that this is a thriving, multi-generational family business.

The first step is the creation of original artwork. Once the new design has been created, the next step involves laminating the piece by hand. These pieces of jewelry are fashioned from metalized layers of mylar and vinyl. A final lamination adds a waterproof finish.

All adornments are Czech glass beads and the necklaces and earring wires are all sterling silver.
