Tile Box with Star of David Lid

Don Drumm is known for bringing the well-received, mid-century brutalist style into people’s homes and lives with everyday objects for decades. This pewter box is designed and hand-crafted by Don. You'll find Don's signature on the underside of each lid. Additionally, each of these boxes comes with a "Certificate of Authenticity" that Don personally signed.

This box is from the Judaica collection Don designed. The lid for this collection has a Star of David that is designed in such a way that it appears as if it were hewn from stone.

One specific design element you’ll find in each box is the interior base tile. In this pewter box, the interior, central, base consists of an abstract design of striations. For the first exterior side, you will find the phrase, “Be still and know that I am.” (Psalm 46:10) This is followed by a design depicting the Burning Bush. The third side of this box is the Hebrew word for "life." Following this, on the final side, the design depicts a seven-branched menorah that is lit.
