Singerman & Post "Paradise" Shield Earrings

Abstract, but with a subtle floral/leaf approach to them, these earrings have a light-hearted theme to them. An interesting shape, rounded bottom, point near the top, and sides that curve inwards, similar to curved sides of a violin or viola. The earrings are approximately 1.5 inches in height (including the beads) and about three quarters of an inch wide. Four beads hang from each earring, a green Czech glass disc, a pink centered bead, followed by two smaller beads of light blue and kelly green.

Who would have thought that riding a New York City subway in the 1980’s would develop into a creative, innovative, line of jewelry?  But this is how Singerman & Post began their jewelry line.

These pieces are first and foremost – light weight. You won’t feel like you are wearing jewelry at all! Another interesting feature about Singerman & Post, is that this is a thriving, multi-generational family business.

The first step is the creation of original artwork. Once the new design has been created, the next step involves laminating the piece by hand. These pieces of jewelry are fashioned from metalized layers of mylar and vinyl. A final lamination adds a waterproof finish.

All adornments are Czech glass beads and the necklaces and earring wires are all sterling silver.
