Tile Box with Sun Lid

Don Drumm is known for bringing the well received, mid-century brutalist style into people’s homes and lives with everyday objects for decades. This pewter box is designed and hand crafted by Don. You'll find Don's signature on the underside of each lid. Additionally, each of these boxes comes with a "Certificate of Authenticity" that Don personally signed.

This box is from the Sun face collection Don designed. Boxes in this collection have the signature Don Drumm sun face with expressive eyes, distinctive nose, and a gentle smile.

One specific design element you’ll find in each box is the interior base tile. In this pewter box, the interior, central, base consists of four stars. The first side you can see has a design of a pewter frog resting on a leaf. For the next exterior side, there are a series of six triangles all pointing downwards. The following side has a collection of triangles again, all facing to the right. For the last side, there are four groups of abstract, vertical, undulating lines.
